The Game of Wealth: How to Escape the System & Live on Your Terms

From the moment we’re born, we fall into the game of wealth- only most of us don’t realize it’s a game at all.

The illusion of freedom will continue as long as it’s profitable to continue the illusion.

– Frank Zappa

In most cases, the system we live in is designed by high-value individuals or the government.

Their primary objective is to maintain control, ensuring that people continue working to sustain the very structure they created.

They tell you to get an education, find a secure job, and work hard until retirement.

But what they don’t tell you is that the system is designed to benefit them far more than it benefits you.

Let’s understand it deeply,

we grow up and then we go to school.

we all know why- our parents want the best possible future for us, so they send us to school to get knowledge from which we get the job.

A job pays you with the very paper money they created—ensuring the system runs smoothly.

You work tirelessly for a paycheck that barely covers your needs, trapping you in an endless cycle.

The work you do benefits high-value individuals and the government far more than it benefits you.

I want to be clear that I am neither anti-government nor anti-job. I simply share my observations and how I perceive the world around us. I still believe that having a job is the best way for beginners to gain knowledge and earn money.

What if I told you that you don’t have to play by the same rules as everyone else?

That there’s a way out of this never-ending rat race, and it’s not as complicated as it seems.

The wealthy play the game of wealth differently—and this post will teach you how to start playing the game on your terms.

Remember not every high-value individual comes from a wealthy family, Many of them come from the middle as well as lower middle class.

They simply learn and do what is necessary. I have devoted many years to studying them as well.

I may not have escaped the system yet, but at least I’m trying my best.

I never regret my choices. If I had taken a different path, life might be different, but I don’t believe in “what ifs.” I focus on what is possible by taking action.

Formal education will make you a living; self-education will make you a fortune.

Let’s dive deep!

What Do You Really Need in Life?

What you need isn’t just money—it’s the ability to create what you need without being dependent on someone else. That’s true freedom.

When you break it down, there are four basic human needs:

  • Food
  • Shelter
  • Security
  • And time

To acquire these, you rely on paper money—a tool they control.

But what if fulfilling those needs didn’t require money, like before the Industrial Age?

if you had the skills to grow your own food, build your own shelter, or even create a community that supports your well-being.

The idea of needing paper money to survive is a construct of the system that we’ve been conditioned to believe is the only way.

What you need isn’t just paper money—it’s the ability to create what you need without being dependent on someone else. That’s true freedom.

Why You’re Dependent on Paper Money

What we observe often plays a crucial role in shaping our beliefs, and I understand how deeply our experiences can affect our views.

From a young age, we are conditioned to believe that the life we desire is only attainable when we have enough paper money.

School systems don’t teach survival skills or practical ways to escape dependency on the system; instead, they focus on preparing you for a life of work, bills, and taxes.

Our teacher is also a pawn in the wealth game, while the school system owner earns money with minimal effort.

Note: The creator of any system, big or small, earns money from thin air, not the workers who operate within it.

Every system is designed to take as much paper money as possible, providing you with things that may not be useful if you understand what your real needs and desires are.

They show us what they have, so, we want it too. The reason is that the more they sell, the more they earn.

This creates a cycle where you’re stuck working for someone else’s profit, spending your time earning money just to spend it again.

You become dependent on a system you don’t control—one that keeps you on the treadmill of earning and spending without ever getting ahead.

He who controls others may be powerful, but he who has mastered himself is mightier still.

– Lao Tzu

The System Was Designed for Control

Let’s understand how the economy works.

The education system is built to serve the needs of the economy, not the individual.

It trains you to be a cog in the machine, taking a job, performing a task, and being rewarded with a paycheck. But here’s the catch: those paychecks are designed to be just enough to keep you working.

Inflation and rising costs ensure that, year after year, you’ll need more money to survive. And when you’re living paycheck to paycheck, it’s difficult—if not impossible—to break free and achieve financial freedom.

They supply what you need so they can ask (directly or indirectly) what they want from you.

They want you to buy their degree to get a job, which benefits the company. They got a cog in the machine while the government receives income tax.

They want you to become ill by consuming unhealthy foods or not maintaining a healthy lifestyle, so they provide treatment and sell you medicine for reasons you already understand.

They want you to enjoy buying goods that are harmful to you, but they continue selling because the government gets tax revenue and companies make profits.

They target all four aspects of life

  1. Health
  2. Wealth
  3. Relationship (family, partner)
  4. Happiness

While reading this, you may view them as evil, but there’s a catch.

You might feel that they are doing things the wrong way, but the truth is that everything they want from you is also something you want in your life.

If they don’t provide what you seek, someone else might, and that could lead to much more dangerous outcomes.

The system is designed to keep you dependent, but you have the power to create your own path

The simple way to get out of this is by not following the trends, instead, make your own way.

Don’t do what most people want you to do, and don’t eat what most people sell. Instead, focus on what works best for you.

It takes time to understand what truly benefits you, but that’s what we can do with our lives, right?

How the 1% Play the Game Differently

They are not different and do not possess anything special.

They simply invest more time in understanding how and why, while developing skills that enable them to create the life they want for themselves.

If you look at the wealthy, they don’t play by the same rules.

Most of them also started from a job, but they did things differently. They don’t get comfortable with the paycheck;

Instead, They know something most people don’t: wealth isn’t about trading time for money.

It’s about creating systems that work for them, investing in assets, and building businesses that generate wealth.

Here’s how they play the game differently:

❌ They don’t trade time for money.

Instead, they:

✅ Build systems that generate income even when they’re not working.

There we do things in a wrong way, while we don’t have much responsibility in our early 20’s we overspend instead of investing.

Also, avoid risks even when they are able to bear losses while trying new things.

❌ They don’t work for someone else’s dream.

Instead, they:

✅ Use their money to make more money through investments.

They work in other people’s companies primarily to learn, build funds, and understand how things operate in their chosen fields.

❌ They don’t get stuck in the paycheck-to-paycheck cycle.

Instead, they:

✅ Control assets, businesses, and people to create lasting wealth.

Many people receive paychecks, but they often spend that money on their needs and wants.

However, only 1% of people understand that if they focus solely on their essential needs, their money can be used to earn passive income for them.

The wealthy understand that in order to escape the system, you need to stop working for money and start using money to work for you.

The 3 Currencies: Time, Knowledge, and Money

We all have three currencies: time, knowledge, and money.

But the key is knowing how to trade them effectively.

The rich don’t just rely on one; they trade between them.

For example, the wealthy trade knowledge and money to buy time.

They use their expertise to create opportunities, invest in assets that appreciate, and leverage their wealth to expand their income streams.

The poor, on the other hand, tend to trade time for money.

They work harder, longer hours, and still find themselves stuck in the same position—never able to escape the cycle.

The trick to getting ahead is understanding how to manage all three currencies, not just one.

How You Can Escape the System

If you’re ready to start applying these principles, I’ve created a guide to help you take the first step.

Now that you understand how the system works and how you can begin breaking free.

If you’re ready to break free, my One-Person Empire Guide walks you through the steps necessary to start building an independent income stream.

Who Is This For?

It doesn’t have to be complicated.

(Mastering the fundamentals is what drives success).

However,
it’s the personal strategies and systems that are tailored to each individual that creators monetize.

This course is ideal for you if:

  • You’re unsure which skills to develop in order to turn your creative work into a steady income stream.
  • You’ve heard a lot about the potential in the creator economy but don’t know how to get started.
  • You feel unfamiliar with marketing, sales, and persuasion because you’ve always been assigned work, rather than seeking it yourself.
  • You’re not certain which products or services would generate the highest revenue for you.

It’s not too late to escape the system.

It won’t happen overnight, but with the right mindset and strategies, you can start playing the game on your own terms.

Here’s how you can do it:

🚀 Step 1: Learn How Money Works

Start by educating yourself about how money really works.

I learn about finance by reading books. It takes time, but that provides the information I need in advance.

YouTube has helped me build my financial knowledge. I find specific topics I want to learn about and watch videos to educate myself.

This means understanding investments, assets, and how to leverage your resources to build wealth over time.

The more you understand, the better you can make your money work for you.

🚀 Step 2: Build a Valuable Skill

In today’s world, skills are your greatest asset.

I’ve learned skills that fascinate me, and my curiosity has led me to discover marketable opportunities that I want to pursue.

I’m still learning every day, acquiring various skills and insights. You can’t achieve wealth with a wrong mindset.

Whether it’s writing, marketing, coding, or running a business, building a valuable skill gives you the freedom to earn on your own terms, rather than relying on a paycheck from someone else.

🚀 Step 3: Create an Income Stream Outside of a Job

Start creating an income stream that doesn’t require you to work for someone else.

This isn’t entirely true. Let me explain why: when you want to help solve someone else’s problem, you need to engage with them and understand their needs.

If they find you helpful, they will be willing to pay you for the solutions you provide.

For beginners, service-based businesses work fantastically, and this is how I started. You don’t need upfront capital to start; you have a skill that they need to solve their problems, and in return, you receive money.

Freelancing, digital products, online courses, and investments can all generate income without you being tied to a 9-to-5 job.

The key is to diversify and create multiple sources of income.

To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.

– Ralph Waldo Emerson

🚀 Step 4: Reinvest into Growth & Freedom

Once you have your income streams set up, reinvest that money back into growing your wealth.

Things start to get interesting when you realize you can do whatever you like and choose to scale what works for you to grow faster.

Since I began learning about money early on, I also started investing at a young age.

After spending over five years in the stock market, I learned how to trade and began trading myself. I know that most people fail, but I focused on educating myself first before starting to trade.

This is another skill I have developed over the years.

Because I remember one quote every single time that I read a long time ago.

The money you earn is yours to keep.

– Robert Kiyosak

Whether it’s investing in assets or scaling your business, the goal is to increase your freedom and control over time and choices.

The End Goal: Life on YOUR Terms

The end goal is simple: freedom.

True freedom isn’t about earning more paper money—it’s about creating what you need without dependency and having control over your time and choices (when, where, what, and with whom).

That’s the key to breaking the cycle.

The wealthy understand that they can buy time through investments and systems that generate wealth for them.

The poor, on the other hand, sell their time for money and remain trapped in the system.

Now is the time to start playing the game of wealth smartly.

Stop working for money, and start making money work for you.

Begin today—invest in your knowledge, build valuable skills, and create systems that will give you the freedom to live life on your terms.

Start playing the game the smart way. Your future self will thank you.
