Life = Business

Life = Business

Success is counterintuitive, and living by this motto has led to the most growth in life.

Your life and business are remarkably similar. If you care about your life, career, and future, you will end up in a better place than 90% of the people around you. The same applies to business. When you focus on your business growth, marketing, and sales, it leads to a successful enterprise. Just as you can’t live without work that earns money, you can’t run a business without your involvement. You need to find the sweet spot where life and business work harmoniously together.

When you discover the right combination for yourself, you grow through self-education and experimentation, turning failures into successes.

People often think of progress as linear, but it’s exponential. You might not see changes in the first 1-3 months of working on yourself, but after a year or three years, you’ll find that your progress outstrips 15 years of formal education. I’m not against education—it’s important—but putting yourself in a box is wrong. Nothing in this world is isolated; everything is interconnected. The gap between your understanding and knowledge can be filled by your ability to visualize and work towards your goals.

Why Life = Business

This isn’t about the business you do to earn money. It’s about “minding your own business.” If you want to thrive in this world, you need to take care of your own affairs. Otherwise, you’ll live in misery, unhappiness, and poor health.

From childhood, I’ve questioned everything: why things are the way they are, why some people are happy and others suffer. I wanted to be happy, fit, and fulfilled. I realized that to get the life I wanted, I needed to view life as a business where my mind, body, and spirit take control of my finances and experiences.

To build your life, you need to build yourself, which translates into building a business. Use your creative mind, spirit, and body to shape your future.

The Problem with the Default Path

Our system is designed to create isolated systems, like subjects in school—math, physics, chemistry, biology, economics—but all these subjects are interconnected. Living a life you hate is the most pathetic thing you can do. Instead, become obsessed with progress and addicted to growth.

For a better life, you need a life where you mind your own business. You don’t need a billion dollars; you need a life where you have time for yourself, where you can do what you want and learn what is important without worrying about outcomes.

Living a life where you can focus on yourself and grow is worth living. People will try to force their knowledge on you, but you have the choice to interpret and use it as you see fit.

Human nature shows us that change is inherent in the nature of nature. Embrace your own nature and change, as it indicates growth.

How to Start

You don’t create leverage through labor and investment without substantial capital. The best place to start is media. Everyone is capable of creating media, and it offers a level playing field.

“Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go.”

— T.S. Eliot

Step 1: Identify Your Niche

Start by identifying a niche you are passionate about or have expertise in. It could be anything from fitness to finance, cooking to coding. The key is to choose something you enjoy and can consistently create content around.

Step 2: Build Your Personal Brand

Your personal brand is your unique identity in the digital world. It’s how you present yourself and your work. Focus on building a strong, authentic personal brand that resonates with your target audience. Use social media platforms, a personal website, and a blog to showcase your expertise and personality.

Step 3: Create Valuable Content

Content is king in the digital age. Create valuable, high-quality content that educates, entertains, or inspires your audience. This could be in the form of blog posts, videos, podcasts, infographics, or social media posts. The goal is to provide value and build a loyal following.

“The best marketing doesn’t feel like marketing.”

— Tom Fishburne

Step 4: Utilize Digital Marketing

Digital marketing is essential for growing your online presence. Learn the basics of SEO (Search Engine Optimization), social media marketing, email marketing, and paid advertising. Use these tools to reach a wider audience and drive traffic to your content.

Step 5: Monetize Your Audience

Once you have built a substantial following, start monetizing your audience. There are several ways to do this:

  • Affiliate Marketing: Promote products or services and earn a commission on sales.
  • Sponsored Content: Partner with brands to create content promoting their products or services.
  • Digital Products: Create and sell digital products like eBooks, courses, or templates.
  • Membership Sites: Offer exclusive content to members who pay a subscription fee.
